Some kind soul just sent me an mp3 of Blondie's '99 AMA performance of "No Exit" with the Wu Tang Clan. And it is as scary and disturbing as I remembered, no wonder Billy Joel and Celine Dion were freaked out.

I remember when I first saw it live, it was spectacular. The lighting was low and the intro started, out came Deb with this huge fur coat (faux, thankfully) and just as she screamed "There's no sin in this," she ripped off the coat and threw it down. Chris did his metal solo, it was awesome. And she just kept yelling "Who's gonna cry for you?" The next day, there were reports that they scared the living **** out of Celine Dion and Billy Joel, that it really freaked them out.
