That's what I was thinking. I wondered what happened to the Shepherd Smith that I saw reporting from Louisiana.

See, I never thought he was an a$$ or really part of the Fox mindset. He really just reported the news and I found him clever and, at time, funny in his delivery. So, I am not predisposed because of his association with Fox.

As for Letterman, he was just saying what he saw and how theauthorities were handling it and what the problems were. I think he is a straight shooter.

I was ribbing you - silly.

But, you are welcome nonetheless.

P.S. I get your point and agree.

You just described the lovely Anderson Cooper, not Shepherd Smith. I have been quite surprised at Smith, though, his reporting on this disaster is amongst the best. Never in my life did I ever think I'd say that about a Faux News employee, either.

I think that is because you are predisposed to hate them. I, on the other hand, judge on what I see, etc.

Again, SS just reports the news. He really has no political slant to it. I think his slant showed on current his field assignment.\

But, Anderson is similar to SS, who as there before SS, thus he is the one comapred to.

Oh, sorry... I meant a**, not ass.

Shep has always seemed a bit pompous and he has lizard eyes... other than that he's OK.

This always makes me laugh...

Not at all. His reporting has been just as biased as the other folks on that **** channel, but since I hear he's queer, he was probably just following orders so that they didn't out him and ruin his career amongst the oh-so-conservative and loyal viewers that joke of news organization reels in on a regular basis. Some of his coverage of Kerry was particularly nasty, I thought.

Meh, I think Cooper is the witty one. That quote of his about ejaculation/gray hair is one of my all-time favorite quotes, man. His show never fails to make me laugh; it's the best news show around, with Olbermann a close second (looooooove him). And, crikey, Cooper's so easy on the eyes.

That's funny that you say that because that one dude ... who's that dude on opposite Hannity? HE'S a lizard. He looks like a monitor lizard, or like an extra in that Strother Martin movie "SSSssss."

I have no doubt Fox picked him to sit opposite Hannity in order to make liberals look A) lizardlike, B) pansyish, C) weak, D) unable to shout down dumbkopf opponents.

Week after week, installment after installment, that poor guy just quivers & shivers & lets everybody walk all over him. Plus, he looks like a lizard, which doesn't go over too well in Midcult America's attraction to people who don't look reptilian.

So I think Fox deliberately put him there so that Middle America would subconsciously link liberals with lizards & with namby-pambies who make weak debaters.

Alan Colmes has simply had too much plastic surgery.

I knew about his arrest, but I never actually saw the mugshot. That sucker's just as good as James Brown's mugshot. I love it.

Is he starring in the new "V" series?
