Does Lindsey make you nervous?
How many of you started twitching when the camera would pan to Lindsey and you would see him fidgeting and twitching? I mean the man is a bundle of nerves. He only seemed to relax when he had the headphones on. Otherwise, he was tweaking the sound board, tapping his foot, running his hand through his hair.
Dude, you need a shot of cognac. |

LMAO!!
I said in the Rumours Ledge that I think Lindsey has an oral fixation....chewing gum and putting his fingers in his mouth. Also, his legs moving up and down when playing the songs. He is VERY fidgety and also, did you notice he rubbed his hand on his nose like 3 times when he was fiddling on his guitar?
I understand his nervousness, as I'm the SAME way. Nervous habits. He stutters quite a bit too.

hahahahaha!
But that is nothing new to us, is it. His approach in music and towards "having control" over everything just breathes neurotic tendensies. I'ts a nerve-wreck! Normally I despise that sort of behaviour, but some people can disarm you with it....

Yep. I don't mean this to sound insensitive, but it got so bad in some instances that it reminded me of Michael J. Fox! But I've heard people who do a lot of sitting develop these tendencies to unconsciously make up for it - like the people who always jiggle their legs at computers.
Still, I'm not surprised Lindsey can't seem to chill, lol. |

I definitely noticed Lindsey's nervousness. I also thought it was interesting that he always chews gum, almost like he's trying to quit smoking! (which we know he doesn't smoke... cigarettes, at least). The part when they are listening to "Peacekeeper" with the WB people -- he is especially full of nervous energy. I noticed it right off the bat. It's not distracting, I think it's endearing and is just who he is... he's always been that way, I'm sure. Some people are just more skittish than others. |

Please leave any personal arguments from other boards, off of The Ledge.
Thank you.

Now back to Lindsey. You know, I forgot to mention the gum chewing. Is that new? Man, that was kind of distracting. The funny thing is since Sunday night, I've been noticing that my legs are rarely ever still when I'm at the computer. Aaaah... I got Lindsey disease! Now, if that would only spread to my guitar-playing fingers... |

He does have one hell of a case of the jitters. It'd obviously be worse if he didn't write and create though, that gets so much out of you...and yet If the man ever retired, (Which god forbid cause he'd go Insane...again) I'd be curious about how he'd deal with it, as opposed to ending up in a rubber room

Would have been nice if a monitor would have told this to Merf on the topic:
