Default The Vaults

Well I finally got my cd (which I love) but I cant seem to get into the vaults. I know a few on here were having problems also but eventually got it. Can you please tell me how? I disabled my pop-up stopper but still cant view it. Is there anything else I need to disable?

I was having the same problems until I downloaded Shockwave and QuickTime. Just go to www.quicktime.com and download QuickTime 6. It takes a while, but you shouldn't have any problems once it's installed. Apparently, QuickTime works for Mac and Windows OS.

You must have both of these programs if you want to view the trailor of the band recording the new album. They will be updating the footage throughout the session. In other words, we will continue to get new footage every time the site is updated. This is so cool!

Has anything been added to the vault recently? Last time I was there they just had the five videos that I had already seen many times before. I keep wanting to go back but keep leaving my cd in my car. And by the way, someone mentioned they are supposed to send you an authorization code via email...yeah, I never got that. I also don't know if there is a direct link or address to the vault. Can anyone answer these? Thanks!

Lisa-

I wish I could help. I recently upgraded, so I know how you feel. Although, the computer may not be the problem. After you downloaded QuickTime, did it prompt you to load some extras to make it compatible? I remember getting another prompt when I tried to run the CD after the download. Did you try loading the CD again after installing the program? Troubleshooting is not my forte.

No, it's the same five videos. I think the documentary is still the same as well.

I didn't get an authorization code. I know that I must have signed up for it about a jillion times before downloading QuickTime. I just ran the CD and clicked on the link in the main menu.

As for the direct link - I believe someone posted it in a different thread. I think it's the thread marked "The Vaults on VBOFM - what's the deal?". I'd post the link, but I'm not running the CD at this moment.

Does it cost anything to download Quicktime or Shockwave? I'm not exactly sure how to do it. Appreciate your help.

Shockwave and Quicktime in their basic forms are both free downloads.

I entered my email but i received no "authentication code". However, I successfully got into "The Vaults", where I saw that "rare" footage of videos I have neatly piled in the corner of my room.
