"Entrance polls show early support for Kerry with Edwards, Dean and Gephardt following"

WOW....51 percent of the tally in and Kerry is winning...

Kerry 37%
Edwards 33%

Dean 18%--------WOW....This seems to be the most interesting result of the night

What did you say about Dean, Strandie?

I told y'all he would go down faster than the Titanic, but no one listened. j/k And Gephardt's campaign is officially over.

I am ecstatic about Kerry!!! But I don't want to jinx it, so I'll shut my mouth.

I know - 18% is seemingly low, even with only 51%, for the front runner of the past month. But, these are not elections and the voting is different (see story at http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/...ain/index.html ) AND Clark and Lieberman skipped this one - so the effect of their presence on Kerry's lead cannot be determined.

In any event - WTF with Edwards in second place?

Woohoo! CNN is reporting TWICE as many Dems voted in the caucuses than in 2000. And that fabulous southern gentleman, John Edwards is second. That guy is going places.
Bye Howard.

Wave goodbye to that Clark banner already!

According to Larry King, Gephardt was scheduled to appear tonight on his show, but refused to go on two minutes before it went on. He's throwing in the towel.

I like Edwards. I had tickets to go to a very small fundraiser (about 50 people) for him at a friend's house about this time last year. I get a sinus infection and could not go. I would have liked to have met him.

Well, this is just Iowa and much larger fish are out there to fry. But Iowa was a big deal for G. Ashame really because basically he is well liked by all politicians and is considered an honest person.
