Thanks for posting. That's a terrific article & picture of Christine. I don't think she's talked about Dennis Wilson this much in years. It's also interesting to hear about her current taste in music. Thanks again.

Macfan, you always take the words right out of my mouth LOL. Too funny. It is odd how she is talking so much about Dennis. I've been listening to 'Pac Ocean Blue' a lot myself these days. And 'Gaucho' is apparently still her favorite album, she said it was way back in 1990 on that Japanese interview.

I am nearly done w/ Part Two of J/C. It is cool when I read something that Chris says that validates what I have written-- like yesterday i was commenting on how making the choice to move to America must not have been easy for her, leaving her family etc-- and here she emphasized that she 'was only supposed to be there for 6 months'.

Love the new picture too. Great to read new interviews w/ her, she has such a dry sense of humor and always makes me chuckle.

Yeah I know, Lis. I love that she mostly likes classic rock/pop & doesn't care for the newer stuff. I'm the same way.

I'm looking forward to part 2 of the Chris/John story. Lis, by the way, check out my thread about Pacific Ocean Blue on the Christine board.

An early sign of Wilson's lack of control came when, as a token of his love for McVie, he hired a team of people to dig up her back garden into a giant heart shape. He was intending to fill the heart-shaped hole with roses, but he never got round to it. "My lawn was now just a big pile of dirt. He had all these people holding a candle around the edge of it, slowly sinking into the mud. Then he got up on the balcony and proposed to me. Then he sent me the bill for the work. I suppose his heart was in the right place."

Great article, but I was startled when they spelled her name "McVeigh" at one point. Dummies.

Did the duck have a death wish?

I mean it walks into the kitchen of a really good cook! Might as well jump straight into the oven!

I laughed so hard when I saw that she's a fan of "Gaucho"!

She has good taste! I love the album myself!
