Well, as far as I know, there's only one studio version released. I don't think it was redone as a single or anything. Then, there's Seven Wonders from the Tango in the Night concert VHS. I've seen this one and another live version of this song, and really nothing compares to the studio version. I'm really surprised that this song only got to #19 on the charts.

I was about to answer this question, but I was disconnected... now I see Matt has beaten me to it.

The only thing I can really add, is that the other officially released live version, was recorded December 11th, 1987, at the Selland Arena, in Fresno, CA.

I *think* the "remix" and "extended remix" versions you have listed, Matt, are the same, with different labels.

Also, of the versions Matt listed, the officially released ones, are the album version, the extended remix, the edited remix (only as a promo), the dub version, and those two live versions.

This is one of all time favourite Fm songs. I was sure that it would go to # 1 but it didn't. Strange how so many Fm songs fail to hit # 1

It's amazing how many songs DO get to #1 that are just crap. Just goes to show that "Charts" aren't an accurate indication of how "good" a song is.

I'd rather have an album (or song) that was lauded by critics & musicians as being artistically phenomenal than to have a "#1 Hit".

I was re-reading this thread, and I wanted to make a quick correction.
And in case anyone used the info i gave, to update an mp3 or something, i figured i should post this as a new message, instead of just correcting what i wrote earlier.

Anyway, enough babbling....
the Fresno show I referred to, was actually December TENTH, not the 11th.

Sorry for the mistake!
