Default How many incarnations of the Mac have you seen live?

Just curious to see how many Ledgies there might be out there who have followed the band live since the Peter Green days. For many of us, age (I'm 46) would preclude us having seen more than four or so. Kudos to anyone who's seen them in every "era".

I've only seen the Say You Will lineup and the Rumours Five at London last year (don't give me any guff about Christine only guesting and not being officially part of the band, I'm counting it ).

I didn't go to see the BTM band (I had only just got into the band and I was on a post-Lindsey downer with them) and the Time band never set foot in the UK , so that's it. Other than, that I saw Peter Green play once with the Splinter Group. I don't now...how dare I call myself a fan...

None .
But any line-up I'd care about was gone after '74.
Probably would go see the current band if the tickets were cheap and they're not .

Chili, were Bobby and Doug actual members? Because then you would have to count Ray Lindsey, back up singers, etc.

Ok, I'll give you that, but there were only 5 people on stage during 1a) & 1b), not like 10 or so like they have now. It's a little different changing 20% of the # of people on stage or 1% of the number of people on stage. Not giving Doug or Bobby any "membership" by that. Just the percentage of change in number of performers. (Steve Thoma would be the same "status" as Graves & Hunt, as well...but they didn't change the personnel on stage during the '94/95 tour, like they did over the course of just a couple of months of touring in '74.

I did see Splinter Group. It wasn't perfect, but I got to see Greeny play The Stumble.

I think seeing Mick, John, Christine, Lindsey, and Stevie is a far different concert experience than seeing Mick, John, Christine, Lindsey, and Stevie with a gaggle of backing musicians and singers.

Therefore I'm considering those two different "incarnations" (maybe "configuration" is a better word), and I have seen them both.

I have also seen the configuration of Mick, John, Christine, Billy, Rick, and Stevie with various backing singers and musicians.

The only solo Mac I have seen have been Peter Green with Splinter Group, Christine, and Bob Welch. I was all set to go see Jeremy when he was scheduled to tour a few months ago, but those shows were cancelled.

I was really asking because I came in around 1974.. (age 7).. but yeah I'll take a raw arrangement any day of the week. Just look how much better Mirage Live is compared to LIB or The Dance... It's not even funny..... is it?

Mirage was the last "real" concert they did.

At Tango, I had security scolding me for rubbernecking, because I was able to see this huge collection of offstage keyboards(pre-show), obviously being played by someone else. The orchestra seed was planted!

Tons of keyboards, tons of guitars, tons of drums..

I hope Christine occupies herself a little more. I'd love for her to bring back the stacks or foot pedals and do it all herself.

I never did believe in miracles, but I've a feeling it's time to try.
