Christopher Hjort's "Strange Brew" book
I was going to recommend Christopher Hjort's Strange Brew book to a friend, when I checked the listing on Amazon. The least expensive used copy is $49.99 and new copies go for $244 and up! Crazy!

Yes, similar prices here in the UK. Such a shame, it's a great book. I believe Christopher Hjort was working on a second, expanded, edition, but that it's stalled for the time being.

That is nuts! I think I got mine for ~25 bucks new. This reminds me of how a new copy of Boston Vol. 3 was ridiculously expensive (not sure if it still is with the re-releases).

Perhaps the funniest thing on the Amazon listing, considering the high prices quoted for used copies, is this offer to trade in your book:
