I like it. Is this a Christine written song or a co-write?

Not too enthusiastic overhere. Sounds too plastic, polished and sweet to my ears.

I'm at work. And it won't open on my phone. Freaking out! So excited.

I'm really shocked at how much of a Tango vibe these songs are exhibiting. Totally not the direction I thought this album would take. This song is a bit overproduced and bubblegum for my tastes, but it's great to hear such an uplifting song from Chris again after all those dark tunes on In The Meantime.

It's a co-write. Check Wikipedia entry at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lindsey_Buckingham/Christine_McVie

Much better choice for a single than In My World. More Mac-like, too; especially the lovely harmonies. I like it a lot. Still, there are a few slow moments (mostly in the transitions from the chorus back to the verse) that I'm surprised Lindsey didn't fill in a little more lushly with production. Almost like he was leaving some holes for a third voice to fill in...

I like it. It definitely gives me some Tango vibes and even though Tango isn't my favorite, I appreciate them going for a more classic sound. This song is interesting, and I think this is shaping up to be a quirky little album. But most importantly, it's so good to hear Chris!!!

Very Lindsey sounding. This sounds like it must have been his music and maybe her lyrics. hard to say. It has that sort of retro 50s feel a lot of his music like on Mirage had.
He's going with that spare production sound... not full, but lots of tinkly, clinky, plonky individual instrument sounds, not as "orchestral" as past stuff. This almost sounds like a commercial jingle, or the theme song to a goofy tv show. I'm not blown away. I am somewhat disappointed with the lyrics... her lyrics on In the Meantime were so rich, and descriptive and emotive and.....this is very, very spare. And rather trite. ok trying to figure out the line "you're the honey in my tea/ your ????? tastes sweetest to me". Can anyone else decipher the word she says??

I like it. It's cute, a tad too sugary, but a nice song.

I love it! Totally unexpected sound and I much prefer it to IMW. It's so sweet and uplifting. Well done Lindsey and Christine!! Some magic here Love the guitar at the end, and the harmonies ...
(some of the lyrics are bordering on being slightly cheesy but I'm ok with that) |
