Post Goodbye Baby in Reno/Silver Springs in Atlanta

Hey guys i have a couple questions:

i just recently got a great bootleg of "Goodbye Baby" performed in Reno in '04 I believe...where Stevie stops singing and Lindsey takes over-what's the story there? Is there any video? The audio has Mick referring to to something that 'happened in the front here'...i was a little confused.

And regarding "Silver Springs" from Atlanta, where Lindsey must sing for Stevie - what's the full story there? Video?....and if you could be so kind...i don't have audio for that one either...anybody gots it?

basically my lifelong goal is to figure out what happened...
Appreciate it!

I know in the Reno show a fight broke out between two women over something and it really upset Stevie....at least that's what it is said happened. As far as the Atlanta show I'm not sure.

That Silver Springs performance was during the Dance tour. It was from the Atlantic City, NJ show, not Atlanta. Here is a link to a recent thread about it:

Yeah, but THIS is the most memorable part of that show. I damn near cry every time. Speaks for itself...

ETA: I really think it was super classy of Stevie and Lindsey to give Mick, Chris, and John a moment to themselves. Hey, I give credit where credit is due.

Agreed. I can't listen to Songbird without crying. Ever. And yes, very very classy!

This is what Stevie saw from the stage in Reno when she looked into the audience. The amount of blood freaked her out so Lindsey had to finish the song.

No, I think Stevie realized at that moment she effed up by quitting the band, thus not getting a proper last studio album with Christine. I could be wrong, but I bet I'm not. Shoulda thought about it before she went.
