Default YOUR 70s song. YOUR 90s song. YOUR 60s song, etc,, etcc..

I know there is no a number one song from a decade. A #1 of a year is acceptable but from a decade it's complicated, I don't think rankings or sales can define it

But I want you to ask if you have your #1 song from each decade you remember (60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, etc)...

I'd choose Roxette's IT MUST HAVE BEEN LOVE (I think it was released in 1989, not sure, but it ws my fave in 1990 and my song from the 90s).

From the 70s: How deep is your love

From the 80s.. humm.. hard to choose but I choose between FM's GYPSY or Thompson Twins HOLD ME NOW

70's - Got To Give It Up - Marvin Gaye (It was bumped from the number one spot thanks to some band called Fleetwood Mac and "Dreams")

80's - Learning To Fly - Pink Floyd (Was the very first CD-Single, remember those, to be released globally and my favorite Floyd song)

90's - Hmm ... Probably something by Nirvana, lol

hmmm....not quite old enough to remember any 60's songs, but here's what I remember were my favs were at the time...

70's "Home At Last" Steely Dan
80's "You Can't Get What You Want ('Till You Know What You Want)" Joe Jackson
90's "Snowbound" Donald Fagen & "River of Orchids" XTC (tie)

I think the best of the 00's is yet to come (though UTS will surely be in the running!)

Cheers!
Steve
