It's weird reading the plethora of articles that have repeated lines from Stevie's recent interview, for example:

https://planetradio.co.uk/planet-roc...wood-mac-over/

None of the journalists who rehash all this seem to consider any of the following:

1. The implicit unlikelihood of a Stevie-Lindsey reconciliation to provide a marketable version of the Rumours band.

2. The viability of a Stevie-Neil-Mike-John-Mick Fleetwood Mac being anything that would tempt Stevie away from her solo career.

3. That Mick and John own the name of the band and could, in theory regroup with someone else.

4. That John, however, in all probability has had enough (and who could blame him?).

The ironic thing about her doing “Free Fallin’” is that Irving Azoff rejected “Full Moon Fever” when he was president of MCA records.

Sorry I missed this jb's. I didn't hear that. Though she could have done that when Chris came to the London shows in 2003 and 2009 (which I think Peter Green also went to?). She did say before the 2013 Tour in the press that she would scrape $5 million together for Chris to come back but didn't actually call her, she just said it in the press.

In Mick's 2014 book, he mentioned Stevie offering Chris $5 million to come back when Christine was making phone calls as well as Stevie saying "Is this some fantasy she has?"

I am always surprised at the "surprise" of Stevie's statements. They are always so predictable. There are no Fleetwood Mac projects on the table. Chris just passed so it would be odd for her to say anything else what she has stated. Even Mick once said that Fleetwood Mac was done after Chris's passing. Everyone hold their breath and discuss this in one year when Mick is looking for his swan song and last big pay day.

Maybe if she up's it to $20 million, Christine will resurrect.

Now that's a ticket I'd gladly purchase.

They don't need to resurrect her. But God I hope it doesn't occur to them.

Do you think Robin is up there laughing when she said Christine was her best friend in the whole world?
