1992/1993 Boots
OK I tried searching for a while, but gave up and decided to just ask you guys...
I was looking for a listing of what OOTC shows are circulating and how they compare to each other in quality. I have San Juan, and I was at the Philly show (the boot of which seems to be of a lesser quality) and the Washington show is now being posted (Thanks, Nancy!) but I was just wondering how they all compare to each other. Also, if there's any special moments anyone can recall from any of these boots, that would be relevent info as well. Thanks in advance!

I also have the New Britain show, which is not bad... I'd rate it about B/B+ quality, and the overall show is great. This includes songs like Eyes of the World, Holiday Road and Save Me A Place, which are left out on the other bootlegs of this show.

Isn't there two different copies of San Juan? The other one was up at Neil's site last year and is about B/B+. Of the other one I have "Soul Drifter" and it's crystal clear.

I've got a somewhat cruddy copy of San Diego. It's not really awful, but I wouldn't say it's good either. Plus there are hiccups where some sound is lost. He played Holiday Road though, which he didn't play at every show, so I like it (though that is one of the songs where there is a hiccup - damn it!)

The Phoenix one is pretty awful sound quality... I wish I had a better copy of it, because that "Tiny Bubbles" moment, and him getting pissed at the crowd, is priceless.
I haven't pulled out that tape since probably 1998- so I might not even be matching the correct city with the correct ticked off outburst... Tracy has a good grading on some of these on her trade page- http://www.geocities.com/noenod |

Hi Christy!
We have a taped copy of OOTC show from??? where Lindsey is trying to tell about his Dad and guys yell out things! He tells about going up north to visit his Dad's grave and imagines what advice he would give him! They snicker and he calls them Pric-s!He says"Well Iam playing it any way!"Linz Mom is there and he is playing it for her! She has on a pretty garnet red suit! Lindsey almost cried...it breaks your heart! Sky FYI: Ours is maybe Chicago Centerstage!!!

Austin, The Back Room
Oh, my gosh!!! You have video of this show? I was at the Austin show. How can I get a copy? I don't know if I have anything you would want to trade me for, though. What kinds of things to people trade?

I only have the audio versions of the shows that I listed because finding Lind's solo boots on video is next-to-impossible... I can make copies of almost any of the bootlegs I have listed on my website: http://www.angelfire.com/music3/rhiannon/Demos.html Brian j.
