Default A little Christine related news

Someone posted this on the Fleetwood Mac Legacy message board. I wonder if Christine knows about this.

Sara Leota May

Saturday, February 12, 2005
A luncheon gathering will be at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005, in the Elsie Stuhr Center in Beaverton for Sara Leota May, who died Feb. 7 at age 85.

Sara Feuchtinger was born Aug. 17, 1919, in Marion, Ind. She also lived in Chicago, Pittsburgh and Los Angeles before moving to Beaverton in 1995. She was an executive housekeeper for Christine McVie of the band Fleetwood Mac for 15 years.

Thanks for posting.

I feel absolutely certain that Christine would know about this.

And she was a native Hoosier!

Executive housekeeper? Wonder how many she had? I always figured ONE, but never figured Chris for having a "staff".

Yeah, I never figured Christine for having a staff either. Maybe, "executive" was a bit embellished. Chris lived in California for 23 years. This lady worked for her for 15 of those 23 years. They must have gotten along very well for this lady to have stayed with her for so many years.

I dunno, back in the day, do ya'll think she folded her own laundry, mopped her floors and scrubbed her toilets? Doubt it. I'm sure her house was big enough to warrant a couple of people to help Sara Leota May out.

40 hours a week is ALOT of housecleaning!!!, at least around here!
If she cooked too, that might be a different story.....

I know, but Chris loves to cook. I can't believe she'd let anyone else in her kitchen. And, I can't even begin to imagine spending 40 hours a week cleaning my house.
