What is your ABSOLUTE favorite track on the Buckingham McVie album?

It's a really hard choice because many of them are even for me. I like all of them even Game of Pretend has grown on me. But the one RIGHT NOW that just makes me happy is Love is Here to Stay. A few hours ago it was Carnival Begin.

On With the Show. Completely understand why Christine instantly fell in love with it and why they named a tour after it. How they left it out of the set for last tour is beyond me, other than thinking it would be more profound and organic on a BuckVie record.

I don't have an absolute favorite. Right now, contenders would be Carnival Begin, On With The Show, Love Is Here To Stay, and Lay Down For Free.

I'm liking Game Of Pretend and In My World a lot more than when I first heard them.

I don't dislike any of the tracks.

Even though I still haven't listened to Lay Down for Free, Too Far Gone and Game of Pretend, my absolute favorite is Love is Here to Stay. From the title, to the lyrics to the music, it gives me chills and already made me cry in more than one ocassion. Can't get tired of listening to it.

This is very hard, I love:

SATC, In My World, Love Is Here To Stay and Carnival Begin.

I think Carnival Begin though, it is just wondrous.

Carnival Begin- from start to finish pure Fleetwood Mac ear candy. One of the best songs Christine has ever written and made even better by the tremendous vocal. I'm going to call it a Fleetwood Mac song because it really needs to be!

I think people like Carnival Begins because they miss Stevie and it's mystical song.

It is atmospheric I wouldn't really call it mystical.Mystical is not really Christine's forte "Behind the Mask " is the closest she has gotten IMHO .There were several more mystical songwriters than she in Fleetwood Mac .Green ,Welch ,Kirwan and of course the one who took it and ran with it

There's something haunting about it.

As a frustrated guitarist, bit of fingerstyle is always going to sway things for me so Love is Here to Stay gets the nod (just) over the mysterious, vaguely oriental and quietly joyful Carnival Begin . 40 years ago Lindsey said he was never going back again; he's obviously feeling a bit different about life these days...

Overall, I'm very happy with this album, a welcome variety of styles, some excusable nods to the past, and I didn't miss the elephant who didn't quite make it into the room. An oddly disparate, yet cogent piece of work that works on its own merits: an unexpected splinter from the tree.

"Carnival Begin", without a doubt. "Red Sun" is a close second though.

I've listened to the album 3 times through now, and really think the only track that qualifies as filler is "Sleeping Around The Corner"; the rest are pretty damn excellent... imho.

I absolutely love "Carnival Begin." I would rank it up there with my all-time favorite Christine songs. "Love is Here to Stay" would be my second favorite.
