Great reviews! I wish I had gone. Next time.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

Lindsey also was FANTASTIC. ISA solo... Lindsey was so into it.
Oh Well, Tusk, Go Insane, totally rocked the house.
A woman came up to me during Tusk and mentioned the whole "USC marching band" thing and this version was even better than the video.

I too have noticed that Lindsey shakes his hand to limber up his fingers before Big Love. Not sure it really is due to pain or stiffness (just guessing here), but more to prepare for the song and the finger picking it requires. Plus could just be a little bit of showmanship... kind of like a pianist would limber up their fingers right before playing.

I so wish there would be a professionally done DVD of this tour like what was done for the live in Boston DVD, but am so glad the fan base is so active in sharing audio and video.

GYOW really had the crowd dancing and just remembered too that as soon as Rhiannon started, the whole audience immediately stood up and started to yell and applaud and danced during the whole song (at least my section did anyway). Same with GDW, my whole section was so into the song.

The guy next to me said the last time he saw FM was in 1977 and he was just trying to soak it all in. I could tell he was really impressed with how well the band still rocks.

The morning after the show, was at a slot and a guy talked to me about FM (had on my concert t-shirt), he also has been to several shows this tour and is really impressed with the band.

I did take some photos of FM four face shot signage all around Caesars and the venue, will post asap. Was really cool to be walking around Caesars and see posters of Fleetwood Mac all over the place.

After the concert, a security guard at Caesars asked me how the show was and could tell he was a fan. He asked about Christine and said she is missed.
I reassured him though that the show still ROCKED and said he should catch a show if given a chance.

There were so many people in the casino that asked me how the show went (again wearing my concert t-shirt), and really can tell that FM just sends everyone back in time to a simpler and more enjoyable time and is remembered on fondly.

LOOOVED THIS SHOW!!! I've seen the tour in Philly, Baltimore and now AC and definitly think this was one of the best. From "Monday Morning" thru "Don't Stop", they were 100%...loved it. I was about 46 rows back from the stage. Liked being on the floor, but think I would have rather been in the stands. Maybe next time they come back around I'll be within the first 10 rows or so (fingers crossed, lol).

"Gold Dust Woman" was the big highlight...looved it. "Storms" grew on me...at first it wasn't my favorite song, but it was one I was most looking forward to in AC. The only downside to me was no "Silver Springs"...was disapointed. Saw the show in Baltimore and no "SS", the next night they do it at MSG, so I thought for sure they'd do it in AC. Oh well...I did get to see it live when they played Philly so I'm happy about that. Had to laugh right before "Big Love" though...Lindsey started his hour long speech and the guy next to me said "Would he just sing the damn song already!" LOL.

I took a few photos although they're not great of course...3 I took off the screens from Gold Dust Woman came out pretty clear...I'll post them then for everyone. I also took 4 videos that I'll link here in a bit.

I mean, he doesn't do it incessantly, but I certainly always see him doing it a couple times during the show, especially before Big Love.

Thanks Michele. I never noticed Lindsey doing this before, but then again, I never really was looking for it. I usually watch what Stevie is doing for visual cues as to how she's feeling, but never paid attention to what he does between songs. Since you've seen this before, then it's gotta be a regular thing, and it's no wonder he would need to limber up before a song like Big Love.

Default instrumentals

Sorry if this has been mentioned before in another thread, but did anyone notice the acoustic guitar instrumentals that were played while the roadies were setting up? I heard Beautiful Child and Destiny Rules. Does anyone know anything about these? They sounded great!

I did notice Destiny Rules but missed Beautiful Child. I wish there was a way of getting a hold of this audio. Lindsey did the same thing for his tour with the acoustic versions of his music playing and I would kill to have it!

By all accounts the band did rock the house! Yes, Stevie is alive and moving, Lindsey is has endless energy along with Mike and John, God bless him, is John! LOL (killer bass)

Lots of energy from the whole band this night and the crowd "was with them"!

Silver Springs is being dropped because Stevie can't sing it anymore at this point of the tour. Although you can't tell on stage, the band is dead tired and are looking forward to the next couple of months off. Don't know for sure if the band was hubbing out of New York for the pass couple of shows or going straight to NH for the next show but they left quickly after the show because a storm was approaching the area and John won't fly in bad weather. (who would given the choice!)

Sandy, I stayed at Bally's and they had those poster through out the casino so we asked a guard if we could take one and he let us! It's very cool!

Well, when fans went to Don Corleone and asked with unsteady hands and tremulous voice that Sardonic World be disposed of, they knew that down the line, some day, there would be a price to pay. That day has come. The Big Love intro: an offer we can't refuse.

That is cool that you got a poster! I know the band has a grueling schedule and I am sure they are tired, hell I know I would be and am 39 years old.
They sure did pump up the energy though on stage. Lindsey sure wailed on that guitar!

That GDW video is AMAZING!

The venue manager (or a high ranking venue representative) is always in regular conversation with the tour representative/manager. Things like this can and usually do come up during the superficial chit chat about the show. There's no need to be dismissive.

No, I won't give you a break.

Does that mean the "band" met with the arena staff? My friend, Zelda, who ushers at the Borgata and Boardwalk Hall, said she heard that Stevie wasn't feeling well because of feet and back problems.

It doesn't matter what you think is true anyway. You weren't there to hear it. Right? I'm not going to diagnose Stevie with sciatica.

Try not to be so standoffish and be rational.

Gimme a break.

Unhappy Atlantic City

I traveled from Los Angeles to celebrate my big 5-0 with Stevie and The Mac - the show was fantastic and my seat was on the Lindsey's side equivalent to the first row.

I was deeply crushed and heartbroken that SS was not performed. That is my all time favorite song.

A disappointing end to what was supposed to be a fun weekend.

The people of AC are great.

Aw, that video is among the cutest I've ever seen from him. Thank you!

(I can't believe he's that enthralled by Mick;-)
