Default Nicks Interview About Fritz (1991)

starts at 5:53 here and continues through next link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NlwQ24Tvx9Y

She says she and Lindsey were seeing other people during Fritz, and started seeing one another once they were recruited to form Buckingham Nicks. Also says Lindsey can't be counted on for levity (or, as she puts it, "serious jokes").

Two things to add to this:
  • See Penguin Q&As with Javier Pacheco, Bob Aguirre, and Keith Olsen. They all talk about when Lindsey and Stevie got together romantically.
  • During the Street Angel tour, those of us who remember going might also remember the remarks Stevie made to introduce Destiny. She said that, in the Buckingham Nicks years, she had a big fight with him and traveled back up to the Bay Area from LA by herself, and fell in love with someone, which led to a personal crisis in which she couldn't decide whether to stay up north or return to Lindsey and LA. Obviously, we know she returned, but we can only imagine the mindset she was in when she did. I doubt things were ever the same after that (which appears to have happened in either 1972 or 1973).

Thanks. Though she gives less detail (doesn't mention the other man), she talks about that in either Storytellers or Soundstage too (can't recall which). Might be the intro to Sorcerer on Soundstage.
