I know Stevie even jokes sometimes, but technically her hair was just cut/layered shorter on top all through the 70's and 80's. She never really had a mullet cut because with mullets you had no hair on the sides of your face and she always did. The tousled shorter layers all over and on top is why she was able to pull off some huge hair during those years which today with her longer hair, she'd never be able to because of the weight and length.
