The show released on the "Madison Blues" box set and separately, as "Preaching the Blues" on Secret Records was recorded in Vancouver, BC - on the tenth -
The band then did headline at the Fillmore West for four nights from the eleventh to the fourteenth -
When I wrote that the released show was the last that Spencer may have played with the band, what I meant to say was that this was the last available recording of Spencer playing with Fleetwood Mac -
The shows at the Fillmore West may in fact have been recorded as well - if they were, they have not yet surfaced to the best of my knowledge

Sorry for the confusion

There is one earlier, august 06, 1970, as well. Also at the Fillmore West. It's slightly different from the august 7 show.

So the second CD of Madison Blues was recorded February 10, 1971, then.(?)

What about the live tracks on the first CD?
Celmons´ liner notes to the mini-box state:
"Some months separate the two live performances of Station Man and - on disc 2 - Kirwan´s guitar work has grown both in confidence as well as technique."
This indicates that tracks 10-16 on CD 1 are from an autumn 1970 concert.
Are there any more info about when/where?

Some nice guitar playing on these recordings, btw!

The live recordings on Disc 1 of the box set were from a show at The Pacific National Coliseum, Vancouver Canada on August 11, 1970 -

I agree with you that there is some very fine playing heard on these recordings and what I find most interesting is that Spencer dominates the set-lists and shows -
We have all long heard how he was reluctant to step out into the spotlight, yet here he is the focal point of the shows and pulls it off with ease

AND if these dates are right then this was only 5 days before Jeremy left.
