Messin' around with the 'Best Of' cover....
My dang ISP didn't want to let me connect, so since I was already sitting at the computer, I decided to mess around with my photo editing software for a little bit.
Anyway, I thought it might be fun to see what the cover of 'The Very Best Of Fleetwood Mac' might look like if they had used a more recent pic of the band. Here are the results.... Johnny Stew

Anyone else think....
...that hand is like the hand of God? Or is it just me?
WOW, Johnny Stew, that's pretty cool that you did that, but I really do like the older pic really. This collection of songs is not from the Dance era, so it only makes sense (IMO) to use an older picture. But...it was neato to see the newer pic there!!

HAHAHA
That's cool Brian how you did that. I like it better than the other shot which to me is way dated. Most of the songs from the Dance were from the same time period, but they didn't use an old photo of the band(even though it was a play on the Rumours cover). I think you get "points" for originality. Not really a BIG deal to me, just expressing an opinion. Now Brian could you just get rid of the crystal ball and God's hand.

I really see everyone's point about why it doesn't need to be a new pic, since it isn't new material, but I like this picture much better.
Anytime Lindsey is hanging on Stevie like that it is A-OK with me!

It's interesting that so many people make a "Hand Of God" connection when seeing the 'Very Best Of' cover... that never occured to me.
To me, it's reminiscent of Mick's hand from 'Rumours', 'The Dance,' and from the cover of the trade-paperback edition of 'My Twenty-Five Years In Fleetwood Mac' (which I can't seem to find a picture of anywhere on the net, to show everyone). Johnny Stew

I Love it....
JT,
Great cover. I'm going to replace my "Best of Inside Track" cover with it. It's my cd with b-sides and the "new" tracks from Live and the Dance plus a couple others. thanks! |

WOW! For someone who's doodled around in graphics myself, I must say, VERY nice! I clicked on the image before reading and actually had to go back and check to see if it was the official cover or what. Well done!
