So, you're saying that in the grand scheme of Lindsey's career, all you could recall Lindsey even mentioning Richard was regarding "Bwana." At least seven albums between them, numerous times sharing housing, and Richard running sound on tour for years, and all you could find was ONE mention on "Bwana?" Kinda proves the bigger point.

No, I did not say that. I was not looking for all Lindsey interviews that mentioned Richard Dashut. I was transferring some LB interviews and found two that happened to have those comments in them, so I posted them.

I was not hunting down Richard Dashut mentions.

Looks like Tom Moncrieff will soon be on Richard's blog answering questions about S&L, the early days, Stevie demos, and whatever else anyone wants to ask. posted today:

rocknroll-gypsy7: So what can you tell us about Tom Moncrieff? Did he and Stevie ever have a little fling?

To the best of my knowledge, no. However there is no doubt they were very close friends, living in two places together as roommates. Tom met Stevie through me when Tom and I were roommates, sharing an apartment together when I first met them (S&L) at Sound City. They had no friends here in LA yet, and Tom quickly became close to both Stevie and Lindsey. Tom is also an excellent guitar and bass player, playing in the early Buckingham Nicks Band & on Stevie’s early demos. I actually have a nice surprise for all of you. After many years (about 25) Tom and I have been talking again, renewing our friendship. He has agreed to join our community and will be doing some writing on the early Buckingham Nicks days. I believe he is also willing to answer your questions and Stacy & I are setting that up soon. This is great for all of us as his memory of the early B&N days is excellent. You will be able to ask Tom this question directly soon, if not to personal? Thanks for your follow.

I would love to ask Tom some questions, but considering I've asked Richard about 10 questions and none have been answered, I think I'm just going to read what others ask.

Richard had mentioned at one point that he has been back in touch with a couple members of the band (phone and text I believe he said) and there was some speculation that it was Mick and Christine. Now on his blog he says the band members he's been in touch with are Mick and Lindsey.

He doesn't elaborate at all on what they've talked about or how often he's talked to them but it's rather interesting that he and Lindsey are in some fashion back in touch.

If that's true, he should produce the next FM album.

In the newest picture where the band is bowing to Jim Devenney, you can see John holding up a joint and one of their bottle caps of cocaine to him.

Someone asked about that and Dashut said no, that wasn't the case. That John didn't like pot or smoke it.

That's just not true, you can watch John and Lindsey share a joint in the Mirage Tour video.

Just passing on what Richard Dashut said on his blog. Having actually spent time with John, he may know better. Here are his exact words (and the question he was answering):

wdm6789: Now correct me if I'm wrong, but in the picture of the band bowing to Jim Devenney it appears as if John is offering up a joint and one of their signature bottle caps of cocaine to Jim.

As far as the joint goes, I don’t think so because John didn’t smoke pot and didn’t like it. The cap on the other hand I can neither confirm or deny, I just don’t know, probably just a prop for the pic?

is this a picture of Stevie and Lindsey?

Hi Richard,

This photo of a young couple had surfaced on the internet recently claiming to be of Lindsey and Stevie in the early 70’s. Is it them?!

http://www.ledge.fleetwoodmac.net/sh...stevie+wedding

Yes. Judging by the way Stevie is holding her arms, and Lindsey is playing guitar, I am going to authenticate it. Plus I recognize Lindsey’s guitar from their early days of Buckingham Nicks.

Yes, even in the first picture, you could tell it was Stevie.
