Default The Cute Beatle covers Christine (not really)

I listened to the new Paul McCartney album, 'Memory Almost Full,' and I heard a very familiar set of chords on the piano. I expected the cute Beatle to start singing, "Have mercy baby, on a poor girl like me!" It's the song "Vintage Clothes" and the piano intro sounds exactly like "Say You Love Me." The song goes on to sound nothing like SYLM, but that piano intro was a pleasant echo of a favorite tune. Anybody else notice this?

Yeah in all the reviews I read about Paul's album this was mentioned. I haven't heard it yet. You can always pm me the link if you so desire.

I love Paul's new album & I thought Chris could have written a few of those songs on the album. I hadn't thought about the keyboard connection, just the writing similarities. I thought the same thing with his last album, "Chaos & Creation" too. There are even a few more Christine McVie like songs on that album..."A Certain Softness", "English Tea" & "Follow Me" come to mind. Both albums are terrific!
