Default Something for Chris to do!

I've got it....since Christine has retired and decided touring with FM is no longer an option for her....shouldn't she get around to writing a book? I would LOVE to hear Chris's perspective on things!!!! I saw an interview on You-Tube from 2004 where she talks a little bit about the possibility of a book!!! That would be exciting!!! Come on' Chris.....we need you!!! Step it up : )

For some reason, I can't see a book by Christine as being a rock and roll tell-all, gossipy thing that focuses heavily on the Rumours-era, but perhaps a broad-based view of her upbringing, the blues era, her influences, etc...

But then again, I wouldn't be surprised if she published a cook book.

I could see that. I don't think it's in her nature to write memoirs -- she's too modest, and probably doesn't think enough people would be interested.

She joked once about her brother writing a book for her and said he knew all of her secrets anyway. Maybe she'll leave a collection of memories, letters, musings for the next Perfect generation to sift through and maybe publish at a time in the future when privacy concerns will have greatly diminished.

I thought you were going to say she could teach Stevie the words to Don't Stop

Seriously although I would love her to do a book I don't think she will. She might think some things should be just left. For instance how would she handle John's alcoholism? she couldn't couldn't ignore it and yet that would be very difficult for him and his family. And her own heavy drinking and drug abuse might embarass her family
