another merrygoround topic but here's a tip...if she 'knows all your friends' she should know you or of you...one would think.

I agree, how about the truth. It's so much easier. Hey, I've seen you around campus a few times and FB just recommended you as a friend. I noticed that we have a lot of the same friends, so I just wanted to introduce myself. Pretty simple. But then, nothing ever is with you.... Which is exactly why you can't figure out how to meet anyone and keep asking people on the Ledge for advice on social skills.

^ and let me tell you...this isn't exactly finishing school. seeking social skills on the ledge is a lot like bobbing for turds.

Speaking of social skills, you sure don't seem to have any. Never have a nice thing to say.

I actually like that one. It is true- which wouldn't be a bad thing! Thank you.

There is this girl I've seen around campus a couple of times this semester. Her page randomly was recommended on my FB (you know how FB recommends people), because we have 42 friends in common. I was wondering if it would be polite or not to introduce myself to her via FB- a lot of our mutual friends are choir people I went to high school with and stuff, so would it really be that terribly random? What do you all think?

Hope everyone has a great day!!

Ethan
Ethan,

I have to admit I find the whole thing a wee bit sad. I'm not insulting you... If you see her on campus, how about introducing yourself?

Sound like a plan?

Dude, seriously?

Hey, I can't help it that Chris Hansen is watching you on account of you appear to be on your way to becoming an Internet Creeper.

Seriously - if you want to talk to the girl, then put on your big boy pants and talk to the girl. Tell the truth while you're doing it, and don't play games.

If she's a lady she'll not walk away.

If she's anything like me and not interested. She'll give you the V's and tell you to F off.

For real. It happens - deal with it, right?

I mean, if I had a nickel for every random creeper I shot down & made feel like an idiot, I'd be rich. Such is life.

That's hilarious!

Like I said, I've only seen her around a couple of times- so who knows when/if it'll happen again, which is why I thought of the Facebook thing.
