I wish/hope Mick reforms The Zoo will Bekka, Billy, and Todd. I think there’s unfinished business with them, and those three work well together.

Extremely valid point about Peter. 95% of people wouldn't have given af if he rejoined. WHO?

Yeah, yeah, you blues guitarists stfu. I'm not talking about you.

I really loved Bekka on this. Winds of Change and Dreaming the Dream. I also listened a lot to Christine's All Over Again.

I'm surprised that "These Strange Times" hasn't been mentioned a lot here. Without Lucy Fleetwood's obnoxious whispering and the religious undertones, it would probably be one of the best songs on the album. But being one of the best songs on Time is like being one of the tallest kids in kindergarten. Half of the songs on this album are forgettable snoozers, particularly "Winds of Change" and "Dreamin' the Dream", which are some of the worst songs Fleetwood Mac has ever recorded. I'm aware that these are controversial takes.

Even though I always said my interest in this album was mostly (if not exclusively) Christine songs, These Strange Times kind of intrigued me. And that's why I chose it for the Lyric Interpretation in the old The Ledge website (circa 1997). I think it didn't survived the current format, so it's not there anymore; but I do remember it didn't have many collaborations. Most people said they didn't know enough the song or have listiened very few times.

Tell us how you really feel!

Mask has boring instrumentation. Strip the good vocals off the tracks, and you basically have a Toto or a Cruzados album. Greg Ladanyi engineered some good albums — Building the Perfect Beast, The Envoy — but this isn’t one of them. It’s really drudged-up, charmless MOR. It’s music for spending a day at the water park.

It might have been a little more interesting with the first choice of producers, Don Gehman? We’ll never know.

If Patrick Leonard (“Love Shines,” “Heart of Stone”) it would have been A LOT better.

It’s a really good song. Her cool, moody vocal…the sexy arrangement…

It’s a spare song, not many notes. And those sophisticated drum fills.

Love it.

And it sounds good on repeat (when you can’t get to the user interface fast enough).
