Huh? You mean Zoe's new power is Stevie Nicks.

That's the magazine's quote, not mine. It's just supposed to be funny, playing on how much Stevie has been used this season and how much the EW writer is a fan.

Why not? Huge shows do it all the time now - Walking Dead for one. Grey's was famous for doing tunes by up & coming artists who nobody knew of. Plus, it's already been established that Misty is obsessed with Stevie, so they could put newer or lesser-known material in. The producers are wasting a great opportunity.

And Misty is the new supreme, IMO.

Generally, I agree. People aren't watching AHS to hear Stevie Nicks songs that they know and love. The producers should be choosing songs based on content and mood fitting what's happening on screen. However, realistically, it's not the producer's goal to broaden the viewers knowledge of Stevie deep cuts. They're going to go with the songs they know and love, which are almost always going to be the biggies.

"Or we might get surprised" What a great opportunity this could be for Stevie get some songs out that she doesn't quite know what to do with...Or even do some soundtrack work...

The Backlot

American Horror Story (FX) 10:00 PM ET

Who is the new, rising supreme? You can add to your theories tonight when, thanks to Marie Laveau‘s undead army someone is going to display new powers. Have we considered that it could be Stevie Nicks only now discovering her power thanks to Misty Day‘s belief in her? Also, someone gets burned at the stake, tho not Fiona (as if it were possible for Jessica Lange‘s character to die before the finale) since we see her lighting the fire in the previews.

Misty Day did make an appearance near the end of this episode after Myrtle Snow was burned at the stake. Clearly upset by what happened, Misty placed her hands on Myrtle's face and resurrected her. No Stevie or FM music played, but Misty was wearing a blue shawl.

Where's Misty's blue lamp? I didn't see one of those in her abode. Ryan get on it.
