I take it as John is not feeling any very serious side effects of the treatment.

I'm sure that they would've said something about "with insert name" here on bass because John is too ill.

Surely, they wouldn't leave that out.

I got an email for Vegas from fleetwoodmac.com this morning and it says "although Christine Mcvie long ago gave up touring, the band is still anchored by its namesakes, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie."

So I assume that means John is in for Vegas and, friendly reminder, Christine is not.

I'm not shocked. Chris wouldn't be under contract for those shows. There could still be a surprise cameo, but it wouldn't be fair to the promoters to have the current standard Fleetwood Mac shows suddenly be Christine's official return to Fleetwood Mac. One is a (current) standard set, the other would be a major event, which would have commanded much higher ticket prices.

True. Unfortunately contracts and money always have the last word.

I just saw this on Facebook and felt the same--surprised to see tickets on offer. I don't know anything about Vegas and typical sales but thought this would be a big draw.I wish I could go just to see John...and see that he is (hopefully) okay.

Well a quick check on the MGM site reveals that the seats closest to the stage (and they are not all that close) are $240 and price goes down from there the cheapest being $110 for the back corner of the arena...

Sorry if my wording was off--I saw the seats and prices etc just not sure how Vegas shows do generally (for all bands). For example, is NYE big in Vegas but the 30th a bit of a snoozer? Or, is FM in Vegas just not a big draw.

I am not a Vegas person so I have no idea what is the norm, but it was a surprise to see tix available.

I'm just freaking shocked just looking at this seating chart below .

The light blue are single seats only. The dark blue means multiple seats are available.

This show should of soldout.
