I think it's interesting and shocking at the number of people who don't look. It is supposed to be one of those primary indicators of health and wellbeing, ne c'est pas?

I was staying at this hotel in Munich many years ago and much to my horror, the toilet had this weird configuration in which the water pooled in the front rather than the back, which was like a raised platform. So, in essence, you had to, uh, make deposits directly onto this raised platform. And no, it was not a bidet! It was absolutely the creepiest thing I'd ever seen. Perhaps it's customary in Germany for people to inspect their remnants in 3D before washing it away?

Yes I think it is an indicator. I think people are just uncomfortable with it. Cause I know I am. I don't know why though. I know it's something everyone does. It just makes me uncomfortable.

I always always shave completely. I cant stand having hair down there. Its so nasty!
Tampons all the time and definitley at night. I never thought about Toxic Shock and using them at night.
No Preference at all - I am 33 now so its cool but when I get older I might want them off - ha ha!!
Always on top but thats only because my hubby prefers it that way

I do look only because I seem to have digestive issues lately but thank goodness they are sinkers - ha! I used to get freaked out talking about that stuff but after years of being around my hubby and then hanging out with his brother, I dont care anymore. I think I talk more like a guy now - lol!

This thread is entertaining on so many different levels.

When I was a teenager, I was terrified of Toxic Shock too. Now, not so much. All I can say is....the older you get, the less you care about everything.

Ladies, how long do you have to wear a tampon to get TSS? Would overnight cause it?

That reminds me of when I saw a Cat get into next door's rubbish bins. I accidentally scared it off and it ran away...complete with a used pad stuck to its ear. Had it been anything else I would have helped the little thing...but yeah. Love Cats but I don't like 'em that much..

A quick peek will also ensure it doesn't look too big to flush and cause a septic system hazard. Though I'm not sure at that point what you could do even if it was, besides finding a spoon or spatula to scoop it out.
