And that almost singlehandedly made Stevie pursue a solo career. Must've been infuriating for Stevie with Tusk too, when she saw everything Lindsey wrote make that album. She probably didn't think too highly of his songwriting ability or appreciate the angry songs.

Stevie may have written it but I've always considered it more of a LB song than a Stevie song just like the first versions of "Crystal".

I hope she performs "24 Karat Gold" but I bet she performs "The Dealer" which is fine too. Exciting!

She definitely made The Chain work...those are her lyrics. I've always believed Fleetwood Mac was best when Stevie was in the studio. Not when she comes in at the end to add her vocals to other songs. Someone has to say that Lindsey's songs are **** before they are "on the album."

Agreed. I'm dying to hear a song from the new record live.

If she performs one of the 4 promo singles, then I'm praying for "24 Karat Gold". There are no really "high" notes like on "Lady" or "The Dealer" so she could EASILY perform this song and make it great!!!
If she performs a "non-single" track, then my wish is "All The Beautiful Worlds", although there ARE a few high notes in that one. Now just watch, they'll let her perform 2 songs and she'll end up doing "Landslide" and f*cking "Stand Back"!!! |

This is great news. And I don't why anyone is even remotely worried that she'll play a landslide or stand back. She's playing without fleetwood Mac in the middle of the fleetwood Mac tour. She's obviously playing a 24KG song. I'm gonna guess either the title song or starshine.

My dream would be if Jimmy asked Bill Hader to come on his show to impersonate Lindsey. Then they would do a Fleetwood mac re-enactment of Gypsy.
Aside from that I am praying she sings 24 Karat Gold!! |

OMG I would love it if she performed 24K gold. That is the one song that I have to listen to every single day since I got the CD. I am dying for a Stevie tour now with new songs. I really enjoyed seeing Fleetwood Mac in Pittsburgh and will probably go to Cleveland to see them again but there is nothing like a tour with new material. I wish there was like a 6 week break before the 2nd leg of the tour starts.

I second that. She would blow everybody away with I Don't Care. Also love Mabel Normand. They both rock and suit her today voice very well. But I'm guessing it will be one of the 3 singles or 24K Gold. Hoping for 24.
Don't know how Stevie does it. The other members of FM will be resting during the brief break between shows and Stevie as always will be off doing promo for the solo album. The woman must have the energy of a 20 year old. But she does pull it off. All power to her. She's amazing. |
