Which, although zillions off her sales in her heyday, is actually a success in today's market. I bought 3 copies myself.

According to SoundScan figures, Stevie's album has sold 43,246 copies as of its second week on the charts.

In its two weeks on sale it sold 42,240 copies which means that 1,006 copies of the vinyl were bought the week previous which is why it debuted at #5 on the vinyl albums chart.

Just thought I'd let you guys know!

Hits Daily Double puts 24 Karat Gold at number 47 this week with about 5,800 copies sold.

Just as a comparison to Stevie's debut, Annie Lennox had first-week sales of about 28,000 copies of her new album, and Aretha Franklin sold about 23,000 copies of her new album in its first week.

The music industry is in the toilet and all sales are way, way down, yet Stevie continues to outsell her peers. Something to be proud of.

It is something to be proud of. I also think Annie did a lot of TV promotion for the album unlike Stevie. HDD predicted the album would be at #24 last week with sales of over 11,000 when SoundScan put it at #30 with sales of less than 10,000.

I wonder how SoundScan will differ this week?

Well apparently Stevie is going to perform "Lady" on the Jimmy Fallon show so that's some promotion.

As stated above, '24 Karat Gold' drops 23 places again (it did the previous week from #7 to #30) to #53 with sales of 5,946.

This brings its three week total (+1,006 vinyl sales) to 49,192.

Just thought I'd let you guys know!

Which means worldwide sales are likely and extra 15 K or so.

God, she has a bunch of really good singles on thus album and none of them are getting played. This album shouldn't go down like this. It's easily her best work in 30 years.

I agree, and its where her age is working against her, even though for a legacy artist she's on a much higher level than nearly any other legacy artist there is. But that (her age) is likely why radio isn't playing any of the 24KG singles.....even though EW had "Lady" on their Must List.

Someone did mention hearing "Belle Fleur" played on their local radio station and described as "the new single from Stevie Nicks" by the DJ but that's the only thing I've heard of that. I still have hopes that Warner Bros tries to push "Blue Water" as a country single.

I've heard 24 Karat Gold played on the Loft, on Sirius XM, several times. Another channel, Deep Tracks (where Jim Ladd has a radio show) plays Lola My Love, Frozen Love, and Stephanie sometimes. I wish Classic Vinyl and The Bridge would play some songs though. The Dealer would fit perfectly with the Alan Parsons Project and Steely Dan.

I wonder what #106 means in terms of sales numbers.
