Thanks for posting this video! It's so clear! I can see clearly now.

Can someone please tell me what that thing is that Mick wipes across his face/nose at the beginning - around 0:22.

Also, I also forgot how pretty Christine looked during this concert. It's so cute at around 6:06 when Chris and Linds are being all cute...and I love that look she gives him!

I love how I can take a nice closeup view of Stevie's face and teeth...and hair. Personally this is one of my least favorite Stevie looks as far as her hair, but hey, it was the 80's. She reminds me of Jem!

Aside for all the crazy gibberish at the end (as LittleCharmer appropriately referred to it) I think Stevie could totally pull this song off with her current voice. I know it would make Louie very happy if she did!

Even small-time bands that play in clubs & casinos prerecord their tracks & their harmonies. They can't afford to hire backing musicians (like Fleetwood Mac) but they still want everything to sound "perfect"--& so do their buyers.
So true. Firstly, it's sad how the days of a 3 or 4 piece band, are gone. Even the crappy little bands I sometimes do sound for, are now 6 or 7 piece bands. And the bigger acts I do sound for, used to be 20 or so inputs...now, it's nothing for them to be 35-40 inputs. Less is more? Not these days.

And yes, on the playing with tracks. One hugely popular 80's "metal" cover band, that I do sound for,(I lightly use the term "metal", because they play tons of Bon Jovi, Journey, and Whitesnake - all singalong stuff), plays along to vocal tracks(all the high harmonies) and keyboard tracks(because the keyboard player owns the band, and gets too drunk to play the parts live).

In my opinion, without a doubt, this is the greatest FM live performance. I continue to be blown away by this performance after all these years. A great rock and roll song to start with but Stevie really blew this away. Amazing.

For me it was that second round of "whrrrrrgrrrrbl" that puts this one over the top. The first round is surprising and cool, but the second round just makes it all seem supernatural- like she is really being exorcised! It could have only been improved if her head spun around 360 degrees while she projectile vomited.
