Just purchased 2 tickets in row 11 on Stevie's side for the first show. Couldn't hold out any longer - the media is doing a good job of freaking me out - i.e. "first show sold out!". This really is a completely unfair system. As a previous poster noted, it should be first come first served. The tickets I just bought should have been in the so-called presale.

Well you held out longer than I ever could have

I agree though - it is completely ridiculous that some of these seats get held back. Who does that benefit? These better seats are worth more to the artist/promoter anyway, so wouldn't they want to sell those first when the interest is greatest? And why should the presumably more casual fans who aren't waiting for tickets the instant they go on sale get better seats? Craziness.

Unfortunately the only way is to keep trying. I was just lucky I logged on when I did. I don't think any concerts are truly sold out as yet.

The promoter releases seats at random. I don't know if they have a plan all set out or not, to acheive their ultimate aim of a sell-out. What I can tell you is that no-one in Ticketek has control of this or inside info - the promoter has a portal into the system and releases the seats.

So good luck!
