I voted Crystal, but only because the Buckingham Nicks version is superior to my ears.

I just noticed you picked one. Forget what I said to you in my last post.

Crystal

I much prefer the Buckingham Nicks version. Lindsey sounds like he's been castrated.

I gave in, but for the record I love Lindsey singing it.

I MUCH prefer the single version of Rhiannon. I love the extra guitar work!

All three are great, but I went with 'Crystal'. Lindsey's vocal is fine, but I resent that we never got Stevie on lead when we should have. Settling for the 1990s voice is not enough. We are forever denied her 1970s voice, which would have been amazing, and I can't forgive this slight. (Forever denied unless a demo emerges...)

I voted for "Crystal" because it's just the weakest of the 3 choices. I much prefer Stevie's solo version on the "Practical Magic" soundtrack to this one.

Honestly, I don't think '70s Stevie could've topped Lindsey's vocal on Crystal. But I've never been in love with her early vocals

Not sure how she would've worked on lead but the harmony is lovely... as for the Practical Magic version, completely unlistenable to me just for Sheryl Crow

Crystal has always been a favourite of mine and certainly the stronger of these three... Landslide on the other hand i've never really got into. To be frank it bores the hell outta me, I just cannot comprehend the hype soz

I tend to agree. The first time I ever heard Landslide, it was this version. All others have fallen far short, and have bored me to tears:

I think her early lead vocals were overly mannered. She started to improve on Rumours, and really got a lot better with Tusk. Her harmonies on the FM version of Crystal were gorgeous, but I don't think she could've done the lead vocal justice.

I like Sheryl Crow. The PM version of Crystal is...interesting, I guess. I don't think it's unlistenable, I just don't think it's anywhere near as beautiful as the FM version.
