Ledgies, choose the next Fleetwood Mac Contest
I think its time for another Fleetwood Mac song contest. We got 4 choices available so I thought I would do a poll with the contest receiving the most votes beginning in a week or so. Here's a brief description of the 4 choices...
Choice A Last year we found the Favorite FM song of all-time. Well how about we find the Least Favorite FM Song. Very similiar setup like the last contest, broken up by vocalist and album, i.e. "Least Favorite Christine song from the White album, Least favorite Lindsey song from the White album, and so forth. Choice B A ledgie suggested about doing a favorite song contest but w/o the "hits". This contest would remove all the songs that won a round last year to arrive at the Favorite Non-hit FM Song. For example, SYLM won Favorite White album Christine song, so that would leave Sugar Daddy, Warm Ways and Over My Head. Choice C So you like Fleetwood Mac's live songs and performances perhaps better that the album versions? This contest would seek to find the Favorite Live Performance of Fleetwood Mac. Each song performed live would have up to 4 nominees eventually finding the favorite performance of each song, each vocalist and the overall best FM peformance. Youtube would be heavily used in this contest and I would need some of the Ledgies help!! Choice D Essentially this would be creating a 18 song Ledgies Favorite FM songs CD. Fleetwood Mac songs from all eras would be alphabetized w/ 10 songs per set. The top two songs from each set move on to the next round. Whichever option gets the most votes will be the next contest. Controversy. All but the non-hits poll are really great polls to do. I think the last option--Ledgies fave cd--should include all non-rumours era songs as well; not only to include all of Mac's history in the running of such a potential cd but ALSO to include all of the Ledgies.
least fav would be fun but could get ugly  best live--would that just be official releases? official dvds too? bootlegs? maybe complicated. so yeah, I think an all-inclusive Ledgies fav playlist/cd would be very interesting. ETA: Not only should the Ledgies Fave CD be all-inclusive, it should be sequenced by ChiliD, who is rivaled in his sequencing skills only by Stevie Nicks. (truth)

Update
Just wanted to update the progress with the next contest. This is how I'm looking at doing these potential contests...subject to change...
The "Least Favorite", "Favorite Non-Hit", and "Ledgies Favorite FM CD" would include all Fleetwood Mac era's. Originally, I intended for the "Favorite Live Performances" to just be exclusive to Rumours era. Mainly b/c that's what I feel the most confortable doing since I'm not that knowledgeable of the Pre-Rumours era performances. However if this option wins, it would be great if another Ledgie would undertake the Pre-Rumours era peformances. "Least Favorite" and "Favorite Non-Hit" would have one discussion type thread per album with some type of gimmic, if you will. "Ledgies Favorite FM CD" having around 300 songs causes each set to have 10 songs with the top 3 moving on to the next round. Any questions/comments just let me know...

I quite like the idea of least favourite song (die, paper doll, die) and live performances.
I'd say Least Favourite song would be more fun to do, since I'd bet my right arm that a pre-1980 Rhiannon, Sisters of the Moon Live on the Mirage tour, or the Chain live on the Mirage tour would win, so it might be a bit too predicatable

...what about your least favorite songs makes them your least favorite and made those songs "suck" in your opinion? Bad lyrics, bad vocals, too corny, too sad, too bubbly? Thanks.
