Default Part 2 Vs Part 1

I will never for the life of me be able to figure out why You And I, Part 2 was on TITN intsead of part 1. Part 2 isnt a bad song, but Part 1 is one of my favorite songs of his ever!

Yessss!

I recently discovered the Tango In The Night Sessions bootlegs. I had downloaded them in a furry a long time ago, and forgotten to listen to them until one night when I was bored with everything else. And You & I Part 1 just blew me out of the water. Definitely superior to Part 2 IMHO.

Also love Down Endless Street.

I adore "You and I, Part 2" (the line, "keep your heart open and your eyes shut tight -- what will be, will be," has always been a favorite), but "Part 1" is absolutely sublime. I can almost understand why it was left off of 'Tango' -- but there's no excuse for its absence from '25 Years: The Chain.'

Definitely one of the underrated gems in Fleetwood Mac's catalog.

Love, Love, Love, Down Endless Street. Though much of TITN is "poppy" shame LB was at odds w/ the rest of the Mac then cause he sure gave them some good ditties.

Yeah. I mean TITN isn't bad (I prefer Mirage as you all well know) but judging from some of the demos, it could have been a stronger album.

Well that's where you & I ar joined at the hip, cause I deem Mirage to be hands down the best FM album! When I waiver from Mirage, I go for Tusk. Those 2 compete for my #1 slot. LOL.

TITN ain't bad, but it's no Mirage fer sure.

Wasn't part 1 on the b-side of the first single before the album was released?

Both are gems. Part one is an aurally stunning, beautiful song, however, part two has catchier lyrics and a catchier beat that seems to meld better with the other tracks on the album.

Yes, it was the b-side to "Big Love."

Maybe that's why part 2 is on the album and not part 1 because that was released before part 2 was released. Makes sense to me.....

Well clearly they had decided on the album's tracklisting before releasing the "Big Love" single. The reason "Part 1" was released as a B side is because "Part 2" was already slated to be on the album, not the other way around.

Here's the two copies I have. I downloaded them from different sources, and there might be a slight sound quality difference between them. You decide.

The second one is shorter by like 6 seconds.

I would say the first one is slightly better quality. But thank you very much for them both!

Really? I honestly thought the second one. But I was pretty tired when I posted them and couldn't decide. Anyways, I hope it's some kind of improvement.
