Lightbulb Lol

Ya'll don't like Phil? Good...more Phil for meeeee!!

Dude has his nips pierced , so I don't think he's a whiny-a$$. AND, he plays the trumpet...which is cool and sounds awesome on Lennex's songs.

Lukas makes me wanna hurt people. He's icky and cannot sing.

I hope Phil goes back to Lennex...because I LOOOOVE them! I've not stopped listening to the songs on their site over the past few days. I do want him to be like 3rd so I can hear more from him...and watch him every week. Great, another obsession. LOL

Dilana has this in the bag, I think. That tambo move...was rad.

Off to find mp3s of last night!!

Dude, it was. She's so comfortable on stage, and spontaneous. I never would have thought "Hey, tambourine would be awesome on "Zombie!" but it worked. I love her. And that reporter's assessment that she's a cross between Stevie & Axl with the voice of Marianne Faithful - I can't get over it, it's spot on.

Dilana is the only one that even remotely fits in with this band. She is incredibly talented and seems like an extremely nice and down to earth person as well. I really like her and look forward to what she is going to bring to the world of music.

Bye Jenny. You won't really be missed, but I would have rather seen Zayra go.

I'm going to jump on the Dilana/Lukas bandwagon. Except that Dilana's facial piercings freak me out a little--which I guess is a plus for her.

Arrow Dilana...

She's getting compared to Stevie (stage clothing and all, twirls, tambo) quite a bit in various articles I've read online. I loved what she did with Ring of Fire and her weird vocal breaks during Zombie were cool too.

OT: I just now found out that my new "boss" (because she's not really a boss, but more of a QCer of my work...she's sort of a boss, but sort of not. LOL) likes Lindsey! I am chatting with her via Yahoo Messenger and I have a Tango pic of him as my profile pic. Told her that I was not pictured in my profile, and it was my favorite singer. I didn't even say his name and she goes "I like him too"

YES!!! I knew I chose the right job!

I would have enjoyed seeing Ryan go. He had the nerve to trash Dana when his performances have been little more than so-so karaoke. I'm surprised that Josh was in the bottom 3 instead of Ryan or Zayra.

I keep watching Zombie over and over, what a stunning performance!

Zayra's voice would work well for Zombie, she sounds like that chick anyway. But she probably would have ruined it w/ her robotic dance moves. I think that's why she didn't bug me as much as usual this week, she didn't move!

Amen. Zayra is way too big for her britches. The only thing she has going for her is her killer body- I think her vocals suck. And that's (the bod) pretty much a dime a dozen in Hoollywood, or wherever the hell they are.

Me too, but I'm not a fan of facial piercings anyway.

I sit through that damn hour of agony just to see Dilana. Nothing else there.

Me too. I would have loved to have seen Ryan get kicked off after he said that Dana didn't rock hard enough. If Ryan were any good, his comments wouldn't have bothered me so much but he sucks.

Attention Paula (I'm pretty sure you're a big Cyndi fan):

I just read that Dilana is going to do an acoustic version of "Time After Time. I'm really excited to hear Dilana's version.

That should be interesting. I'm curious to see her take on it.

I watched the reality show last nite: *spoilers*

During their clinic, they broke off into 3 teams and had to write lyrics and melody to a Supernova song and then perform it in front of the band. Lukas and Jill were being difficult...and then they all had dinner together and drank Jaeger shots. The song selection for tonight - Gilby left them a note saying that whoever picked Brown Sugar got to do it with him - Jill got it. They showed a clip of her rehearsing with Gilby and she wanted to change the key to E. Gilby said something like, "You singers are so difficult, you always want to change the key to suit your voice, but it makes the guitar sound like sh*t."

Some of the other songs: Call Me, another Nirvana song (Dana's doing it), I Alone, that's all I can remember.
