Off topic but...

BrwnEyes new signature just made me lose my breakfast.

It's a sad, sad world when anybody calls either of those worthless (insert preferred expletive here) a hero.

On topic...

Nickelback suck because

A) Their lyrics are sh*t

B) Their music is sh*t

C) What's his face can't sing for sh*t

Of course it's her business. You put it in your signature on an Internet message board for everyone to see, making it everybody's business. You knew when you did it that many people wouldn't agree and might very well express their opinions to that effect. Don't pretend that you weren't trying to ruffle a few liberal feathers by labeling a photo of two of the most divisive conservatives of the past 25 years "My Heroes."

I did it because I'm proud of my beliefs and because THEY REALLY are two of my heroes! What the hell is so wrong with that. If she don't want to see it........SHE DOESN'T HAVE TO LOOK! I mean this may be a shock to some people but yes, there ARE conservatives out there and no, we are not afraid to show it.

I didn't say they weren't really your heroes, nor did I say there was anything wrong with that.

Uh, yes, she does have to look, because it's in your signature. It's a giant picture that shows up at the bottom of every single thing you post here.

Yes, that's quite shocking. So is that a tacit admittance that you knew that your signature would ruffle certain people's feathers?

Look, you know as well as anyone that if you if you broadcast a political opinion in a largely public forum, you're opening yourself up to have people respond to that opinion, whether in agreement or disagreement. You don't get to say, "It's none of your business," or, "Just don't look at it." That's not how it works.

No, and I'm not going to start a huge discussion about this. I'm not ashamed of having that picture in my sig. and if it upsets some people...I mean there isn't really anything I can do about it.

Then don't.

Nor shoud you be, if that's your thing. Though you and the entire Republican party should be ashamed of that particular, anarchist Reagan quote, as it's what has inspired the horrible, incompetent, ineffectual shambles that the American federal government is currently in.

No there's not. That was my point.

Well that is what happens when most of the nation is conditioned to rely on the government from everything to a pay check to cleaning yourself.

I'm not sure what that has to do with what I said, I think you misread what I wrote... Anyway, I don't think "most" of the US is "conditioned" to rely on the government for all that much. Didn't Reagan's conservative revolution happen nearly 25 years ago?

Umm.... Hello

I said what I said because I really do dislike conservatives and because the sight of either of those particular people makes me violently ill. If you have a problem with that, YOU DON'T HAVE TO READ MY COMMENTS. If I'm not mistaken, there is an "ignore" feature on these boards. Only you don't use it because you thrive on friction - especially when you are the cause of it.

And this may come as a shock to you, but there are two sides to freedom of expression. You have and should have the right to believe what you want and express those beliefs. On the other hand, I have the right to disagree with your beliefs, dislike you because of them, and express those feelings. That's just the way of things.

And I wouldn't change anything. If there was no other side then it would be boring.
