I'm not big on these songs at all. Last night I was hanging with my best friends. Their play list was on shuffle. Say Goodbye came on. It reminded that Buck McVie don't have that kind of magic. I will likely buy the CD because that is what a fan does. But I don't see this is as anywhere near their best.
I LOOOOVE "Say Goodbye."
Especially the version on the "Live in Boston" DVD

In My World is absolute drivel. But this one I can stomach and I may foresee getting into after repeated listens.

That's how it happened for me. I didn't like it, at first.

Say Goodbye - Live in Vegas 12/30 where LB dedicated it to SN and made her cry. So incredible.

see to me, when i heard Say Goodbye live version for the first time, i actually thought Lindsey has lost it! i was soooooooooo dissapointed he would go to that Enrique Iglesias / Charles Aznavour land. the guitar part is pretty but the song and the melody? i can't stand it!

just goes to show you how someone's idea of kitsch or dreck is another's idea of perfection, apparently.

I ADORE the melody in that song, especially the LIVE version.
Music is subjective. Nobody is right or wrong.
It all comes down to what you enjoy

Although I never could understand how anybody could love "Docklands."
But some do, I suppose.

I agree, sounds like she's singing through the laundry mat tubes in the wall.

First row, just slightly to the right center..And that song came on. She did it live. It was awful.

That is amazing!!!!
I got a hug from her during the Edge walk.

AT the "Timepace" tour at Irvine Meadows, I was dead center front row, and I was the one she handed the bouquet of roses to at the beginning of the show.
Streamers hanging from it and you could even smell her prefume on it a few days after.
I remember when we were walking back to the parking lot after the show, some girl yelled "I'll sleep with you if you give those to me!" LOL!
Being gay, I politely declined LOL

She was out of it sometimes... and then all of the sudden.. something would kick in.. and she was on fire... I was never so close to her.. I was shocked at how big she'd gotten.. but she was still very beautiful. And that's not a knock on her weight.. I now realize what getting old means.. lol
