Crystal and Without You are really the only two songs I can think of that are positive about love. I'd like to incorporate both into my wedding one day...

I agree that "At Last" would be nice. Stevie songs are hard as there are not many wedding-y ones.

And I thought I was the only one!!! My wife and I used "Songbird" as the last dance at our wedding as well. That was almost 11 years ago, but hey, what the hell!!

Now I originally thought this thread was about what song should be played at a wedding of Mick Fleetwood and Stevie Nicks!!!!! LOL!!!!!

So, my vote would be "Beauty and the Beast"!!!! :-)

Default Stevie Wedding Song

How about Unconditional Love? She didn't write it but it's on her Street Angel album.

Default Fleetwood / Stevie Wedding Song

My wife & I danced to the old Mac song "Need Your Love So Bad". We're still together 18 years later!

I think I'd do the Buckingham Nicks version-- unfiltrated, soft, pure.. I donno. I'm really into the symbolism of everything and I love the idea of the original "Crystal" being THEIR song and not Fleetwood Mac's... the band that made and broke them simultaneously. Yes, I think these type of things through WAY too deeply... but the purity of it amazes me.

"Songbird" would be a great closer.

Although it's not a Stevie song, I plan on having Mystified as my wedding song. Idgaf what my future husband says-but at the rate I'm going, I've been successful at turning guys into FM...haha

but if you pick Crystal, I agree in that B/N is wayy superior to the White Album version.

Otther Mac (not necessarily Stevie) songs:
Warm Ways (maybe)
Songbird (although I'd never consider it)
Wish You Were Here (odd but I like it)

and as for Stevie:
leather and lace
I sing for the things (again odd-but I like it)
sleeping Angel

overall there's a meager amount of good wedding songs from Stevie/Mac. Many of stevies songs have to do with longing or losing- and if I found a love, I couldn't see using a song like that at my wedding. But the ones listed may be pretty good

Why did you list a song to play at your wedding if you said you'd never consider it? I'm confused. And how the heck are you? How are you spending your Summer? Enjoying all the rain we've been getting?

Well I figured many others listed it. I think tr only reason I wouldn't want it is b/c of Tom cruise and Katie holmes using it lol.

OT: my summer is going good. A lot of hanging out, card playing, movies, and malls. Yeah rain sucks lol. How bout you Vivfox?

I have been working harder at advancing my career and spending money on myself and my family. I've been getting an hour long massage once a week since April. The rain doesn't bother me all that much cause I have a million hobbies to keep myself busy indoors and I love being on my computer. I had to use other peoples computers for 9 months as mine was not working. Then when I finally saved up enough paper, I got it fixed and I'm hooked on it like a drug. I've been burning tons of CD's, clearing out my computer. Luckily for me NONE of my files were destroyed, unlike what has happened to a lot of Ledgies.

I already have my heart set on "Leather and Lace"

picking a song is easy.
finding a guy I actually want to spend the rest of my life with...not so much.

Since I'm kinda against the marital thing to begin with, any potential husband of mine will know better than to mess with the little decisions.... like wedding songs, kids names...
