Denver show/presale Sept 24

just an FYI- there is a presale on the ticketmaster site right now for this show for AMX holders (which I didn't know about...) and the seats available now are about 18 rows back so am waiting until ticket day or another presale to see if I can do better. BUT for anyone going to this show, the map on the site does not match up with where tickets are. Tickets said they were in Orchestra C and it just showed Orchestra but no letters so I called the Ellie Caulkins house where he's playing and there is no Orchestra C - just Orchestra. So if you see this just as long as it's Orchestra you are on the floor and then row 1 would be row A, row 2, would be B, etc.

Seat prices are $66 and $56 with $11something for a convenience charge.

A lot of American Express Gold Card Members are out there and they are using the card. I don't have one, but looked at seats...they are now up to Row 20 -- bummer.

Ticketmaster nor the Lindsey website gave any alert that they were already on sale.

I hope that there are Ledgies out there who can capture GREAT audio and video for me, since it looks like I'll be sitting this one out and attending that wedding in Illinois.

(Macman, are you listening? You always get such wonderful things...hint, hint.)

I just got an email from KBCO.com about a presale for the Denver show starting Friday 7-25-2008 at 10A. You must signup at KBCO.COM to get the info.

I just got an email from Ticketmaster about a presale that started TWO hours ago. Boy would have been nice to have notice. I have that kBCO one too.

I am very confused though and does anyone know- I checked the presale for ticketmaster just now and it says Orch R- but yesterday the lady at the theater said there is no Orch with a letter- just Orchestra? The map doesnt help.

Where would Orch R, Row F be? If you look at map it's extremely confusing....I don't want to get presale from KBCO tomorrow if I don't know where my ticket will be.

Betsy - I hear the AMX tickets are not that great from others too - the presale I mean so check tomorrow with KBCO.

ok I think I figured it out

Orch R is Orch Right- and C was Center

so my seat would be right side, third row (cause it starts with row D it looks like or it could be row 6?). Darn, I wonder if I should get it or wait for KBCO. I'd like to be up closer (spoiled!)

for radio? KBCO said it's GIFT but it's not working!!!!! (under Radio presale) it works on internet presale but those tix are crap

well now it says its KBCO once you get to the ticketmaster page - seats are same as the internet presale ones. Too far back.

Oh well- if I can't get good one's tomorrow I don't think I'll go. I don't want to be all the way back. It would have been nice for ticketmaster to send the presale info out earlier than hours after tickets went on sale.

I also emailed the LB website several times about presales and my msgs came back to me.

I tried the Radio Station's presale (KCBO) and got Row X. That's worse than the Row T I got for the American Express Gold Card presale.

YIKES! Are THAT many people hitting this show?

I think they didn't have great seats as when I finally got in when I figured out the correct password they had Row T. This was at 10:10AM. and if you check the fanclub presale it's the same exact seats. Same set of seats- same presale. The AMX turned out to have a better (different) lot but we didn't know about that early enuf either.

I am hoping tomorrow will bring me a good seat!

Well, I have a date with Mr. Buckingham. He will be under the lights and I will be in Row F hugging the wall, off to the right hand side.

If I have an obstructed view, I will be pissed. But --- considering, he is playing an Opera House (an opera house????) which was built in 2005 and has tons of ballets, then maybe the season ticket holder of my seat, has already alerted them to this minor detail.

Here's hoping it's got a good view.

A quick aside....a seller on Ebay told me she always rents a wheel chair for Stevie concerts. She gets better seats AND get backstage to see Stevie. I don't think I could use that sort of M.O. in good conscience.

I think your seat is great Betsy - I doubt it will be obstructed!

Well after trying for a bit I finally got Row 4, middle section, Aisle seat. It's not 1st or 2nd but I'll be happy! I mean front row was great BUT it was harder to see him that close and truthfully the sound was bad that close (at the LB show and FM being that close- not that I'd trade those experiences!) but am happy with my seat!

Now I have to find a babysitter cause husband is out of town!

I actually got a sitter- yeah!!! Thank godness as my husband's plane doesn't get in until 8PM!
