I think the thinking will be all bets on endorsing anyone are off at least until this weekend. I mean Dean has already gotten huge endorsements from major politicians. If they all have to endorse more than once, that just looks bad, although it certainly has happened before.

Susan E (I LOVE HER) was just explaining to Brit Hume that Dean's angry message of "WE HAVE TO TAKE BACK AMERICA" and his vehement anti-war stance hit a wall in Iowa - she though the 19% indicated the voters did not want to hear that and did not respond favorably to it. She also said that Dean has changed all of his ads for NH to essentially "I am the politically mild gov. from next door." That does not sound too good to me, esp. considering he is in Kerry Country.

I, for one, am ecstatic about the results! It shows that Democrats want someone who can slay Bush... clearly, Dean is not that candidate! I guess we will see what happens in New Hampshire.... I still am in shock that Dean had such a poor showing. And woot for John Edwards! I am not a supporter per say, but he is from my state and I am proud of him. He definitely made a VERY strong showing!

Gephardt dropping out? It was only a matter of time. The polls showed it was a 4 way race (Kerry, Edwards, Dean, and Gephardt) where the results showed it was only a two-way race (Kerry and Edwards). Throw Clark in the mix, and this will be a great race! I have confidence in Kerry, Clark or Edwards for a strong Democratic ticket... and that's what it's all about!!!
