This website says Stevie's net worth is $40 mil, but of course it doesn't provide any support for that conclusion.

I think the bigger question is how in the hell such a nobody like Gary Barlow (crappy boyband fame) has $110 million more in net worth than Stevie O_o Making me question the site's credibility just a smidgen..

Yup. I think somebody's telling porkies lol... Why do I tend to believe wiki answers more? There is no way Lindsey has a bigger net worth than Stevie (of that magnitude even), despite how much I love the guy.

^That doesn't surprise me. Stevie really went through her money back in the day. She must have spent millions and millions on cocaine alone. At the height of her fame, she also insisted on having every single hotel room she stayed in painted white and redecorated before her arrival... all at her personal cost. She famously watched the movie "Risky Business" one night, and somehow during the night she got somebody on the phone who was able to deliver her a Porsche identical to the one in the movie by the next morning. The woman buys homes and moves constantly, too. And I think it was Courtney Love who said Stevie was the type who when she heard you were sick, would show up on your doorstep with thousand dollar cashmere blankets to give you so you could curl up and feel better. All of this stuff adds up. Stevie says she's never looked at a price tag since 1975. All of this is probably why she tours so heavily to this day... she's gotta work a lot to pay for her lifestyle!

I think she has way more than that, all the touring, and the publishing from 'Landslide' alone, and smart investments and handlers from the start, including her father- I'd double that figure, then some. I bet the interest alone is enough for her to live and give generously from.

I would take anything on this website with a grain of salt. They list Dustin "Screech" Diamond as having a net worth of $1 million. Last I heard, he was in foreclosure on his house, which had an outstanding mortgage of, like $260K. And how could a mediocre rapper like Eve, who really hasn't had any commercial success, be worth $18 million while Norah Jones, who has multiple multi-platinum albums to her name is worth just a little more ($25mio)?

And how is Anderson Cooper worth $100mio? Just ten years ago he was some kind of a local sportscaster. And he's pretty much stuck on CNN, where he barely gets any viewership at all.

But the biggest stinker of them all? Anna Nicole Smith- $450 million? For real? That means she's worth more than Elvis Presley.

Wow $40 million ,Thats where all my money went.some of those other artists that I never heard of that have more bread then Stevie.

Not that this is entirely relevant but I wouldn't underestimate Gary Barlow's fortune - he may be in a boyband but its an incredibly popular boyband (in europe) and they've done several hugely successful stadium tours over the past few years, plus Gary will get most of the song writing royalties not just from Take That but also from the many other people he writes for. So i'm sure he's pretty rich. You'd have thought that I'm a big Gary Barlow/Take That fan, but I'm really not.

You can't believe these websites but as far as Anderson Cooper, he came from money so that's quite believable he's worth a lot. His mother is Gloria Vanderbilt.

Honestly, I think that's a gross underestimate. Also, define net worth - does this include all real-estate, stock options, mutual funds, liquid cash etc.? Who knows how much the woman has tied up (figuratively). The royalties she gets from Fleetwood Mac alone could warrant the 40 mil.
Also, frivolous spending in the 80's could potentially prove to be irrelevant today as we don't know what she did with the money she didn't blow (literally). She could have made one good investment and be beyond set for life.
And in today's fluctuating economic times I'm sure that number could potentially fluctuate dramatically from month to month or year to year.
In all honestly I couldn't begin to guess how much our girl is worth but I do feel confident it is in excess of 40 million.

I just read that the kid on Two and Half Men will make $300,000 an episode. That will be $6 million a year. And he's not even . . . does anyone watch the show just for that kid??

Yes, I doubt that Anderson's worth $100 million, but he did just sign on to host a daytime talk show (in addition to his 360 duties). So, perhaps he'll soon be as rich as . . . Phil Donahue.

Gloria's had financial problems. She's overcome them and lives comfortably, but it's not like she's still got a collection of Vanderbilt mansions. Whatever fortune she made from the jeans is long gone. I'd say Anderson is worth more than she is.
