I don't own any pre-Buckingham Nicks albums, but I do love what I have heard of Bob Welch and Christine McVie's compositions on Mystery to Me.

Believe Me is one of my favourite C McVie songs.
Hypnotized is great

Bob's solo Ebony Eyes is classic. Gets played a lot on WS FM radio in Sydney.
Most definitely! It's a toss up between Mystery To Me and Bare Trees as to which is my favorite pre-B/N album.

I thought it was an amusing little freudian slip of the author listing "Bare Trees" instead of his intended "Sentimental Lady" in the 20 best song list. Both are great songs!

My top five FM songs would be, in no particular order:

Rhiannon
Dreams
Go Your Own Way
Landslide
Say You Love Me

As many times as I've heard them, I always enjoy listening when they come on the radio.

Gypsy bottoms out at #20? No way.
These "pop articles" are amusing, especially coming from a magazine that borders on advertorial.

Scandalous. Are you absolutely sure?
By any chance do you like the solo versions with Petty?
Maybe you need time out in the Gypsy room.

Wow what an alternate universe where Everybody Finds Out ranks higher than Landslide.

Hawkeye.. I love that list... it's has so much in it.. I don't even care that Songbird isn't in there... It's just so comprehensive. I'd switch Gold and Sisters too. Both amazing songs.

Stevies angel is higher. And I didn't whip this up for this thread, so don't think I slaved over that overnight. I have this and a few other lists saved. It's an odd thing that for whatever reason, especially anebriated, I get in the mood to make lists. I did this 3 months ago, so yea looking over it I might say to myself, well I kind of like number 67 more then 65 now, but the overall flow is going to always be the same and the top 10 to 20 are pretty set in stone.

The asterisks are nothing. They showed up randomly when i Pasted to the ledge.

And this stretches further, didn't want to clog the thread with an even larger list, once you get down low rough it all kind of doesnt matter where they fell.

And it's funny if I would've went even one further you'd get your songbird. it's 102. And don't stop is 106 I'd others are wondering where popular Chris rumours songs are

And blow by blow is a great freaking song!

... which puts me having 16 Christine songs, 16 Lindsey, 11 Stevie, and 7 "other" (Peter Green, Bob Welch, Burnette/Vito, etc.) in my top 50.
