Default Christine at a UK gig?

Come on, then. What are the chances, do we think, that she will turn up backstage / at rehearsal at one of the UK gigs (most likely London)?

Do you think Chris will bother this time around? I remember, from what Brett Tuggle, Corey Buckingham etc, said in 2003 that last time she turned up at Earl's Court rather last minute. By all accounts it was touch-and-go as to whether she would be there at all.

I think it goes without saying that they will have dinner together at some point during the roughly two-week UK leg. Or, rather, Mick, John and Stevie will have dinner with Christine. But I do doubt seriously that Christine will show up for any of the gigs- it's kind of, well... unnecessary. She's already seen them in action without her. And I do believe that she probably stalks them in private via the internets. I mean, you can only peel so many potatoes and pull so many weeds out of the garden before you get bored witless.

On the other hand, it would be a dream come true to see her take the stage for the encores! I don't think there would be a dry eye in the house and the roar would be beyond defeaning- you would think someone set off a bomb. Come on Christine- I know you're reading this. Put on your big-girl knickers and take one for the team!

I think she'll catch one show and, if we're lucky, we'll hear about her having been there afterwards. She turned up for Mick's Blues Band. She'll do it this time.

I agree with HejiraNYC.
Though I'd love to see the full Rumours lineup, I don't think that will happen. It is not a matter of going up to the stage to sing and play. People deserve a good show so they at least should rehearse enough for 1 or 2 songs, decide what to play, etc.. and I don't think Christine will want to.

I think she will sing Don't Stop (Thinking About Tomorrow), World Turning, Songbird, and You Make Loving Fun.

Or maybe she could teach Stevie the words.

They don't need to rehearse with her if all she sings is Songbird.

This is an outtake pic of Christine for the Behind the Mask album:

I'm telling you- if I were at a show and Christine popped up on stage, I'd probably cry. That kind of thing- reunions- really make me emotional!

I'm sure she'll be at a London show (maybe the last one?) but I don't think she would come on stage

I'm going on the 31st so she could phone Stevie that morning and teach her the damn words to Don't Stop. That would be useful

It would be wonderful if Christine would at least meet up with the rest of the band. I doubt she would get onstage again, but I guess you never know! As for "Don't Stop",I think Lindsey should sing it by himself! I also think he should stop singing "Go Your Own Way". I really love Lindsey, he's my favorite, but "Go Your Own Way" live....he's had problems with that vocal for quite a while...

I'm not disagreeing with you at all here, but do you know how many more casual fans you'd upset by dropping this? This is THE stadium sing along song on this tour- the whole arena as a whole loves the thing!

Well, I know everyone wants to hear it, but when it gets to the point where I actually feel bad for him everytime I hear it, I think it's time to rethink the set list.
