Default Carrie Underwood and LB

Any thoughts. I saw them performing together on YouTube. I had no idea this ever went down ( which brought me back to the Ledge...I am SO out of touch!!!) and it's weird. She's a little Stevie ( ok...just a little..but from far away....and she tried to be a little with the gloves)
What did you all think??

They sang Go Your Own Way.

Well, I enjoyed him with Little Big Town much more, didn't think Carrie Underwood was any good (although I like some of her own songs) and the editing on the show marginalized Linds.

But I guess I'm always glad to see the guy get outta the house and be seen by people other than FM fans.

It was discussed here http://ledge.fleetwoodmac.net/showthread.php?t=33778

Default Mp3 of the performance

Here's an Mp3 of the performance. It's 320 Kbps.

LOL thank you. Glad none of you were thrilled either. I was in shock. And jealous as hell.

Default Is she holding a guitar?

When I first saw the video, I posted this on my friend Richie LaDue's myspace page along with the video. (Richie is also a DJ).

Thanks for sharing this...I am intrigued! I hadn't heard about it before now...I can't believe LB did it, honestly, but I can't wait to listen...I kind of like Carrie, honestly...

I believe it was referred to in STORMS, that inspiring novel by CAH, that Lindsey tried to get Stevie to play guitar on GYOW during a Tusk rehearsal -- and was exasperated because she couldn't "get it" ...

....then CAH shows up at the rehearsal....and Lindsey engulfs her with his attention, affection, worship....etc. etc. etc......

Seeing the performance with Carrie (guitar-in-hand) reminded me of that passage. (Apparently, Carrie *got it* or faked it...)

Someone in the other thread

http://ledge.fleetwoodmac.net/showth...rrie+underwood

pointed out that LB sang it in a higher (? key/octave ?) at the Fashion Rocks show than he usually does....

Luckily, during the OOTC tour we got to see Lindsey rock out with women in his band who really got it.

I do like Carrie's song Before He Cheats though.
