As with Stevie and Lindsey, in order of brilliance IMHO:

1. Over and Over (like the song title goes, I could listen to this over and over, and have! To me, it's her best song)
2. You Make Loving Fun (her best hit, and overall pop tune, like Go Your Own Way, is timeless from start to finish).
3. Morning Rain (with Danny Kirwan's blistering guitar to her simple, but powerful lyrics, this early song was a sign of things to come, but also a great moment in her career).
4. Think About Me (should've been bigger than Don't Stop IMO)
5. Hold Me
6. Believe Me (3 me's in a row and wonderful me's they are).
7. Brown Eyes (hearing the new version, I think I like it even better).
8. Friend
9. Nights in Estoril
10. Behind the Mask ( a brilliant title track from a mediocre record)
11. Don't Stop
12. Isn't it Midnight (my favourite tune from Tango).
13. Honey Hi (simple, lush and beautiful)
14. Say You Love Me
15. Come a Little Bit Closer (toss up with Why, but this one wins.)

Bubbling Under: Why, Spare Me A Little, The Smile I Live For, Songbird (Why and Come a Little Bit Closer, I think are better songs), Get Like You Used to Be.

I love your list. I'm not sure I'd ever have thought to describe You Make Loving Fun as 'timeless' though. I'd say its definitely of its time- would certainly stand out as 70's today (of course it's still brilliant though).

Agreed. But certain live versions of it, especially THE DANCE one, transcend the 70s feel of the original. THE DANCE version really cooks, and without the lush studio effects to rely on, the band tap into a taut blues-pop energy that gives the live performances an incredible lift.

The Tusk live version is incredible to me. What a jam!

Agreed. And there her voice sounds so deep and bluesy.

I agree. This is probably the only Mac song I wish they would have re-recorded with Stevie and Lindsey. Just imagine those amazing harmonies similar to those on Love in Store singing "Come a little bit closer" I think Lindsey could have added a few elements too.

YES !! GREAT IDEA !! Since they did a Buckingham/Nicks song ("Crystal") on the Fleetwood Mac White Album (1975), they should have RE-RECORDED "Come A Little Bit Closer" for the 1975 album. You're right, Stevie and Lindsey's harmonies would have taken the song to unimaginable places.
