I am vehemently opposed to school drug testing. I think in certain cases (like the ones you mentioned), the parents should have the power to have drug tests taken. Not the school; it's not their place.
Point taken!!

I was just coming from the point of view that I think most parents would gladly allow the school to pay for the testing, etc.

Also...

Drug testing should not be done in schools. Government funds should not be made available to churches.
23 billion dollars for drug testing in public schools? How about if we can just get them current text books and decent supplies?

I didn't think you were being harsh -- just stating your opinion.

Did you see Hillary? Her expression made Teddy look like Mr. Happy.

Exactly.

Kerry's on TV right now talking about gay marriage.

He was one of 14 who opposed the Defense of Marriage Act. He said he personally doesn't believe in gay marriage, but that his personal views should not cloud his judgement and that he believes gays should have the right to marry because there is a seperation of church of state.

And since, according to Pat Robertson, low income families don't even pay taxes, there would be no point in a tax credit.

Yep! I noticed she did stand and applaud on the Saddam Hussein capture making Iraq a better place.

On a really shallow note, did anyone see Tom Brady?! Hubba hubba!!

And other shallow note, Laura Bush looked better than usual.

I mean come on Laura - get a snappy new outfit and hair color. Actually, I like her very much despite her drabness!!!!!
