This ain't the Lindsey forum, it's the "we worship Chris" forum(and we don't want to argue).
I wasn't aware that those boards were down (seeing as I'm not a member over there or really a CM fan, as you already know, Homie). Still though, while this may be the Christine forum, there's no sign on the door that says "No Lindsey Fans Allowed."

Me either. I'll probably eventually buy UTS. He's my third favorite member of FM.

I said '"It seems...." and after that "or at least dislike...." . Read back what you wrote about his singingvoice "bag of frogs", etc.

That's not your third fave Macmember anymore.

Well, he and old what's her name DON'T having any singing range left. I can probably handle what he can "create" in the studio.....but live? I'm over them live now(especially now that they've lost the only one who can still sing).

Rankings are relative. #3 might be a loooooooonnnnnnnnnnnng distance from #2, see?

Yep me too.

If they tour again I doubt I'll go and that would be the first UK tour since 1973 that I'd have missed.

Unless of course........ no that's not going to happen (sigh)

Yeah, we can always dream!

I've seen every tour since '79(except SYW-I had no interest in THAT tour!).

I don't see anything wrong with the comment. It was a funny comment, especially since she's talked so much about owning a pub. (Now, when I think of a pub, I have a vision of people throwing darts.)

As for my favorite Macster, it's John, and it's because of how he's able to roll his eyes and talk smack to the others TO THEIR FACE! (See: Destiny Rules doc.)

she doesn't own a pub and I haven't read anything about her wanting to.

she talked at one time about having a restaurant.

She doesn't even drink anymore, so her pub hopping days are long gone. The supposed idea about her wanting to own a pub came about from George Hawkins' Q & A back in 2000. He mentioned that she occasionally hung out at a local pub near where she lived. Someone then mis-interpreted that to mean that she actually owned that pub. George later said that she did not own the pub, just occasionally spent time there with friends.

About 10 years ago she mentioned that she'd like to make another solo album, write a book & open a restaurant. She did the first thing, now I'd like to see her work on the second thing.

And, I think Lindsey's shooting darts comment was a dig at Chris being "retired".

if she ever wrote a book, i bet it would be hilarious. she's so funny. but then again, there's probably a lot she might hold back, for fear of hurting other people, so it might turn out to be a really short book. LOL

the idea of her having a restaurant is a fun one too. . .i wonder what she would name it?

and i also took lindsey's remark to be aimed at her retirement. it seemed to melike a "she's twiddling her thumbs, doing nothing" kind of comment.

I know. I was surprised that she didn't dismiss it out of hand in that VH1 Classic interview two years ago. She sounded like she might be interested in doing it, although I don't think she'd want to embarrass John. I hope she does, even if it's a very short book. I actually think there's a better chance of her writing a book than ever recording again.
