Unless something has changed, Lindsey travels with recording equipment. If Stevie gave him her demos before they left, he could be working on arrangements while on the road so that they could go in and finish the album in a week during that month off between legs in April/May. The album would hit the stores by September/October. It could be done pretty easily.

And I don't know if LB does travel with all the same equipment anymore.. I'm sure he has some at all times, but he seems not to hole up in his hotel room on the road like he used to. He gets out and about a lot more. |

Stevie got her 24K done in no time.Leave the BS bickering and song crafting aside and get it done. The bulk of the recording is mostly done.Right. If Stevie only has 3 to 4 song to do plus add her oohs and ahhhs to the already done tunes. It should get done .

Tour
It appears they have over a month and a half off between shows where they could record.
After their 4/11 show in Las Vegas, they are off until 5/27 where they'll be in the UK. http://www.pollstar.com/resultsArtis...leetwood%20mac I know, it's wishful thinking but they (including Stevie solo) have recorded in a shorter period. All you negative b*tches can just suck it...... |

Sorry but if the FM record happens it probably won't be till 2017. Just in time for the "Farewell" tour. |

They don't ignore U2, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, etc. It's all PR and reviews. Play up their narratives on TV nonstop and they'll get nominated.

Didn't say she had to. I said she can't. Frankly, she has nothing to contribute. The only reason she can hold the band hostage is because a long time ago she became the face of the band to the fans, and the rest of the band sees their bank accounts shrinking at the prospect of carrying on without her. Sadly, she is the least talented member.

but a fact is that Stevie *is* the most commercial of them all and can sell a lot of tickets. You may believe commercialism is overrated, and you may prefer one of the other members, all well and good, but from a business angle, she still gets the most bums in seats as they say. As many as all 5? -- obviously not. But realistically, the most of any of the 3 singers/writers. This is why she can hold them hostage, sadly. |

^It don't matter, she is still the most successful solo member of this band......EVER.

I think its flat out wrong to assert Nicks can't write a decent song anymore. Her songwriting has really rebounded since the nadir of the Street Angel days. "Trouble In Shangri-La", "Love Is", "Fall From Grace", "Bombay Sapphires", "Say You Will", "Thrown Down", "Destiny Rules", "Illume", "Space Needle", are all excellent songs and are all recent compositions. She went on a tangent writing songs with Dave Stewart for In Your Dreams, and she had limited time so she went with developing demos for 24 Karat Gold, but she obviously can still write very good songs.
